Diagnostics specialists DiaSorin required a new canteen and breakout area for its staff. With a new hybrid working style, the company wished to provide staff the space to work in a more relaxed environment and somewhere to get away from their desks with ample kitchen facilities. The room is also large enough to double up as a presentation space for key staff meetings.

Using a mix of brand colours to promote the company’s identity, along with biophilic additions such as planter storage spaces, the new canteen space is very inviting. There is a range of seating options to allow for all tastes and requirements including bench seating, tall tables and booth seating for more private conversations.

Acoustic ceiling rafts were installed in brand colours to help reduce noise levels and echo in the large room and feature drop-down light lamps and spotlights were also included in the kitchen area for visibility.

Woodland wallpaper, in brand colours, creates a calming feature wall, whilst the floor sports three different textures, including tiling in the main eating area, carpet in the breakout space and wood for a clear walkway to the fire exit.
